Physical Health Evaluation (1.5 hours, $125)
This comprehensive musculoskeletal screening, appropriate for athletes age 12 and up, takes the athlete through a battery of static and dynamic physical competency tests to help direct the fitness and training plan:
• Key aspects of Body Awareness & Alignment
• Specific Joint Mobility
• Foundational Upper and Lower Body Strength
• Foundational Movement Skills
• Basic exercise technique (bodyweight & barbell, if necessary)
Injury and training history are carefully reviewed to help the client understand how these variables might affect his/her current training plan, performance goals and overall health. Each client receives a thorough write up of the assessment, along with training recommendations that can be shared with a coach or personal trainer. Physical Health Consultation: (1 hour, $75)
Have a specific sport injury or postural pain issue you would like to discuss? Iron Maven can help you understand your situation and get you on the road to recovery, or refer you to St. Louis area and national rehabilitation and medical specialists if necessary.
Rehabilitation/Post-Rehab & Return-to-Play Conditioning
Iron Maven takes a progressive approach to sport and orthopedic rehabilitation, integrating manual therapy, development of functional physical competencies and patient education. Evaluation, plan of care and all treatment sessions are individualized to the specific needs of the patient. All sessions are one-on-on and emphasis is on the patient actively participating in the process to optimize recovery time and avoid re-injury. Physician referral required. Initial evaluation $125 (1.5 hours), follow up visits and progress evaluations $90 per session (1-1.5 hours). Discounts and payment plans are available.
